I installed and did all the prompts right, set up the ODBC
and tried to hook up. Says
general sql error
[mysql][odbc 3.51 driver] access denied for user' Tom'@'localhost' (using
password:NO)
alieas: testing
said password could be blank on set up so I left it.
So I did it all again on the ODBC and used a password. sitll the same error.
what I doing wrong here.
 

Check if the username you've used to connect to MySQL
has enough rigths to the database .
