Create a dll library from a static library (.lib)2004-02-19 06:56:19 PM cppbuilder104 Hello, I have a static library (.lib) developed in VC++. I want to use it in Borland C++ Builder and I read some messages that explain that I have to create a dll and compile it with VC++ using the .lib. The problem is that I haven't the source code of the .lib, I only have the .lib library and some header files and when I create the .def file and include the functions to export, but some messages errors appear: "error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: __thiscall LizardTech::Exception::Exception(class LizardTech::Exception const &)" I don't know exactly how to create the .def file and if I have to create some .c and .h files in the DLL Project that include the functions to export. PD: When I execute the application dumpbin /all from the .lib to a text file, no export functions appear in the text file. Can anyone help me? Thank you. |
