Not only are "devco" hiring, but they're actively doing it on the
newsgroups.

Skills and Experience Required:
?2-3 years hands on experience in a professional software firm.
?Good knowledge of QA and awareness of international issues
?Experience testing one or more of the following areas: C++ Compiler,
De{*word*81}s and/or IDE?s.
Following are an added advantage:
?International software development
?Quality assurance methodologies, white/black box testing,
system/integration testing experience.
?Familiarity with the Borland processes
?Familiarity with Delphi language and Delphi products
?Familiarity with C++ language and C++ products
?Familiar with Software Development Cycle and methodologies
Education Required:
4-year technical degree or Masters degree with 3-5 years industry
experience, or PhD with 0-2 years industry experience

The Product Manager will be responsible for establishing and defining
Delphi/Developer Studio product requirements. He/She will be responsible for
maintaining prioritized product backlogs for the assigned product modules
and for contributing to the overall vision and direction of Delphi and
Developer Studio. He/She will be responsible for collaborating with many
stakeholders (especially with customers, global field sales, and sales
engineers) for defining the product priorities in the technical roadmap

The Product Manager will be a leader and an integral part of the development

ensure the 'right' product gets delivered with each release. He/She will act
