Shutting down a dll

Im debugging a VB exe+dll combo and occasionally I need to do a ctl-F2
and reset the SOB and I end up in a "sorry the process is still running"
loop.  Is there a more graceful way of stopping all the processes in an
application other than rebooting?  We use win95.  I half hoped that
going from BCB3 to BCB5 would stop this.  Any suggestions on neat work
arounds?
