Turbo C++ Explorer fails to run - rtl100.bpl fault

Hi, hope this is the right newsgroup.
I have just installed the latest (download) version of Turbo C++ Explorer.
All seemed ok, no errors or warnings and the license manager found the
license I was sent by codegear.
When I try to run Turbo C++ I get an access violation at address 51F515BE in
module rtl100.bpl read of address 00000008
After that of course it fails to start properly.
Can anyone help please? I would be reluctant to buy the professional version
until i see the explorer one working!

Hi, hope this is the right newsgroup.
No, this is the group for the pre-Builder version of Borland C++.
What you have the the current single-language version of
the Borland Development Studio (BDS).
BDS is a refinement or the Builder series, and as such, questions
belong in the Builder groups, that is, groups with .cppbuilder in their names.
Would suggest
b.p.install.cppbuilder or
b.p.cppbuilder.ide
