horizontal and vertical text writing

Hi,
I want to make an application in that when i click on button(horizontal text button)it should activate a Memo or RichEdit entities and when i click mouse on form it should relase any of these entities and then i can right any thing in this box.
this application is same as in microsoft world excel textBox and vertical text box properties.
please help me . I am waiting for responce.
