Parallel Port/Serial Port Components

Are there any good Parallel Port or Serial Port Components available? I
am looking for a standard component for reading the ports that will
provide event handling routines for interrupts..

I believe the consensus is that the TurboPower AsyncPro is right for the
job. However, it is not an ActiveX control.
