Hey all,
i'm trying to do a simple example in assembler from this site:
www.doorknobsoft.com/asm_tutorial.html
i went to the bin directory and used tasm32.exe to build the .obj file but
what do i use to create the .exe? according to article i need to use tlink
but there's no such command in the newest version i guess.
and instead of doing this from the command line and notepad is there a way
to do this in the ide?
thanks,
rodchar

What "newest version"? What compiler are you using and which version of the
compiler?
The latest version of Borland C++, the compiler which is the subject of this
group, came out in 1997, about 10 years ago.
If what you have is a newer compiler, it might be the command line tools
from C++ Builder version 5. That compiler is covered in the groups with
'cppbuilder' in their name, especially this one but it does not have an IDE.
borland.public.cppbuilder.commandlinetools
Under Borland C++ tlink.exe was the 16 bit DOS command line linker.
Tlink32.exe was the 32 bit one and ilink32.exe was the "preview" one. C++
Builder has ilink32.exe as a production version and not a preview so does
not have tlink32.exe.
