How to respond to a specific client using connection points

If more than one client are connected to a server how to respond to the
right client?

Regards Christer.

Maybe part of an interface (a parameter?) should identify a client?

Re:How to respond to a specific client using connection points

Christer,
If you are referring to firing events from your server to a client then do a
search on www.google.com on the groups page for "Danny Brown Borland". I had
some trouble with this myself a while back and some newsgroup people helped
me get it going. The problem is the Borland Com Wizard does not implement
the connectionpoint container in a way that lets a server fire to multiple
clients.
Basically if you haven't done so already, you need to create a TList of
clients as they connect so that you may fire to each one or in your case
only one . To implement a specific client firing you will need some
mechanism of identifying clients as they connect and storing this identifier
along with the interface pointer so that you may associate a name or some
other ID with the instance of the interface.

Good Luck
