java Client Data Sets ???

For those of you familiar with Borland C++ builder, there is a data
structure in the VCL called a Client Data Set. Is there anything available
that mimicks this functionlaity in Java???

Yes, in package com.borland.dx.dataset you'll find a TableDataSet
that do all the stuff of a dataset but saveChanges()

JBuilder's DataExpress has StorageDataSets (QueryDataSet,
ProcedureDataSet, TableDataSet)
