Hi
Since oracle can't use boolean values, i have the problem that i want to
show a value in a jdbTable as a checkbox. Its not the problem to get the
value (which is a bigdecimal in the standardcase) and show it as a checkbox.
Just set the property "dataType" to Boolean shows the cell as a checkbox.
But if i have an updateable queryDataSet i want to save it to the oracle db
too :)
Here the problem occurs.
I get the message: "com.borland.dx.dataset.VariantException: Attempt to get
a BIGDECIMAL value from a BOOLEAN value" if i change the checkbox value.
Did someone solved this problem already?
regards Martin

Re:saving Boolean to Oracle DB?

Ok once again solved it on my own :)
Simply choose BIT (-7) as the serverType and Boolean as the DataType
property....
so long
