Hello,
Does somebody know if it's possible to implement JDBC in J2ME (CLDC/ MIDP
profile) applications?
Greetings,

Re:JDBC in J2ME

HXTT supports JDBC on Personal Java because it's possible to use
java.sql on Personal Java. For J2ME, it's easily to provide an embedded
pure Java database. But if you wish to implement JDBC in J2ME, I guess
that you have to reaname all java.sql.*.java into javax.sql.*.java,
then check and remove many JDBC methods, then complemt a javax version
JDBC for J2ME...

From www.pointbase.com/products/micro.aspx , you can find
PointBase Micro, which shold complement a subset of JDBC. I haven't
tried PointBase, so I'm just guessing.
