Deploy Kylix 3 open application

Hi,
some years ago I downloaded kylix 3 open and registered without cost.
Now I noticed that Borland does no longer offer the download of the
deployment for that.
Am I still allowed to publish an application from kylix 3 open (taking no
money)?
Where should people get the deployment from?
By the way:
I bought Delphi 5 standard some years ago at 189,00 DM.
That is less than 100 Euro.
Today Borland does not offer something like "standard" edition.
The least expensive is "professional" upgrade at more than 500 Euro.
That is too expensive for hobby programming!
Regards
Heiner

IIRC you can get the "Personal Edition" for this. And not to forget the new
M$-Giveaways with their Visual-Studio-Express (maybe with C#, which for
sure isnt to hard to learn for Delphi-Programmers).
Since the disastrous backup for Kylix-Customers, the full flop C++-Builder X
and the unknown way of the Development-Software from Borland i think the
time to be a loyal customer for Borland Software is over.

I was not aware that there is a Personal Edition.
Thanks a lot for this tip.
At the moment I'm downloading Delphi 2005.
At the office we use Visual Studio. I know how to program in C++, 4GL and
more.
But I regard it a pity that we don't use Delphi. RAD is unbeatable!

I shall stay a loyal Borland customer, now that I recently compared Lazarus
to Delphi.

It's not really that much considering what you get with PRO.
I bought it for use at home for hobby shareware programming.
Worth every penny.
You get what you pay for. Try using Monodevelop or Eclipse to great GUI
applications and you will see it is very worth the 500 or so Euros.

From the context, I believe he's downloading Delphi 2005
Personal. There's no 2006 Personal, and no way to legally
download any version of 2006, AFAIK.
There has been talk about a "better than Personal" edition
soon to be released, but so far nobody inside Borland/DevCo
is giving details. Perhaps it will come soon after DevCo
starts functioning as a separate company?
