With much hacking with the excellent patchelf tool, I can get the Delphi IDE
up and running on Fedora Core 3, and write a small project (a button, with
an onClick to change caption).
But, the de{*word*81}/run is broken.
If i run the executable it has made by hand, all is well.
strace'ing the startdelphi script shows:
........
[pid 17043] readlink("/proc/17043/exe", "/opt/kylix3/bin/dbkexe-1.9", 511) =
26
[pid 17043] getpid() = 17043
[pid 17043] write(2, "dbkexe-1.9 - dbkexe-1.9 [pid 170"..., 70dbkexe-1.9 -
dbkexe-1.9 [pid 17043]: De{*word*81} Internal Error PCN-212
) = 70
........
And then lots of
[pid 17043] kill(17043, SIGCONT) = 0
[pid 17043] --- SIGCONT (Continued) @ 0 (0) ---
[pid 17043] rt_sigaction(SIGRT_3, {0x252020, ~[TERM], SA_RESTORER,
0x33a898}, NULL, 8) = 0
[pid 17043] rt_sigaction(SIGTERM, {SIG_DFL}, NULL, 8) = 0
[pid 17043] rt_sigprocmask(SIG_SETMASK, ~[TERM], NULL, 8) = 0
[pid 17043] write(6, "\1", 1) = 1

[pid 17043] rt_sigsuspend(~[TERM RT_3] <unfinished ...>
[pid 17013] <... poll resumed>[{fd=6, events=POLLIN}], 1, 2000) = 0

[pid 17013] poll( <unfinished ...>

[pid 17018] gettimeofday({1119612957, 976321}, NULL) = 0
Neither LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 or echo 1>/proc/sys/vm/legacy_va_layout
seem to have any effect.
Is this a total no hopper ?
