I am currently using XBase files as read-only cache.
Some of my cached files are big (4-10 MB)..
And I cannot use ClientDataSet as cache, because it loads all data into
memory...
XBase files use small memory footprint...

I guess some extremely small shops might use xbase, but in the past 7 years,
I have seen not one company doing xbase development.
